Let it snow!

The past couple of days here have been just crazy! On Thursday it was sunny and kinda warm but yesterday and today have been a totally different story. It started snowing sometime early Friday morning and did not stop until this afternoon. When I say snowing I don't mean constant flurries it was DUMPING snow all that time.
Braeden absolutely loves it when it snows and hasn't really had a chance to play in the white stuff yet this year. Last night while it was still snowing I decided that we could go out and play for a little bit. I got him all bundled up and I just put on my coat thinking we would only be out there a couple of minutes. Boy was I wrong! I had to negotiate a deal with him in order to get him to come inside. I was freezing, but he didn't seem to care.
As we did last year we are using Braeden's body as a measuring tool for snow accumulation. At this point in the storm we are somewhere in the knee range.

He had the most fun running around trying to throw the ball at me.

No snow play time is complete without a little snow snack. Don't worry it wasn't yellow!

This morning Travis decided that although it had not stopped snowing that he would get a jump on the task of shoveling the drive way. This is what he had to deal with.

When the snow finally decided to stop falling I told Braeden (as per our deal the night before) that we could go out and play in the snow again.
This time the depth per the Braeden-o-meter is in the waist range. It was too funny watching him try to walk to get out of this spot.

Travis came out and did another sweep of the sidewalk and driveway. Braeden wanted to help build the snow mountain with Travis.

I also taught Braeden how to make snow angels today. He LOVED it! Can you see the angel he made?

After the snow angels came the snowball fight. Braeden had a blast trying to hit me with snow but with those mittens on he had very little luck.

He even liked it when he got covered in snow by my awesome snowballs. He didn't act like the cold bothered him one bit. The only reason why we came inside when we did was because his mitten fell off and we couldn't get it back on.

Needless to say he has had a ball the last couple of days. I on the other hand cannot wait for spring to get here. As a matter of fact I just went out and bought a couple of new spring things for Braeden. Here is a picture of the awesome hat that I had to have.

Now that is cute!

I didn't leave the house yesterday 'cept to shovel out a little path for Griffey to tinkle. Otherwise I'd of lost him in a snowdrift.

You guys look like you had fun. Loving the hat. Very stylin'!
