When we first got into the park we spotted Pluto so we had to get a picture.
We quickly made our way through the park because Braeden was dying to ride Splash Mountain. On our way to the ride we ran into Donald and stopped for a quick picture.
SPLASH MOUNTAIN!
After riding splash mountain twice in a row we decided to run over to Thunder Mountain Railroad to hop aboard the run away train.
We only got a couple of rides in before we had to head over for Braeden's appointment at The Pirate League. When you first walk in you are given your pirate name by spinning the wheel which is attached to a treasure chest with dice inside. Once you give the wheel a couple of turns the pirate at this station asks which month you were born. Then using the number on the dice and the birth month your name is revealed. Braeden's pirate name is...Christopher Redburn.
Once Braeden's new name was established he was lead to an area to have the transformation completed. He was in need of a black eye so Jinx the Pirate Master gave him a little help out with that.
Now that the transformation was complete it was time for the pirate oath.
He also had to learn the pirate salute.
No pirate can be without a sword. This young lady was explaining that no "landlubber" was to be harmed using the sword.
Obviously this pirate did not listen to the instructions because he decided to chop my head off.
After the full pirate transformation we had to ride Pirates of the Caribbean.
After Pirates of the Caribbean we were off to Aladdin's Flying Carpets.
As we were walking back through Adventure Land to find some grub we came across this dude who was about to start a little show.
We decided to stop for a minute to check it out and that's when suddenly Captain Jack Sparrow appeared. They began to pick kids from the audience and Braeden was the first one chosen. Here is the captain pointing him out.
Captain Sparrow told the kids he was going to teach them to fight like a pirate. One at a time they went up to fight the trusty side kick. I was starting to get irritated since Braeden was the first one picked but the other kids were fighting first.
When it was finally Braeden's turn Captain Sparrow came over and asked his name. Braeden told him and the captain said, "I just wanted to know the name of the person I would be fighting." SO Braeden got to fight Captain Jack Sparrow as the side kick instructed him how to fight.
Here is the new crew of Captain Jack Sparrow. Braeden was super excited that he got to fight Captain Jack Sparrow.
We hurried to get some food right after the show only to find that the restaurant was filled to the max. We got our food and went to sit around a little ledge. This bird was just chillin out walking around the ledge and then...he stole Braeden's hamburger.
After crying about the bird eating his food this is what Braeden looked like. Travis did go back in and explained what happened and Braeden got a new sandwich. He took 2 bites of the new burger.

Shortly after the Main St. parade we went back out to Adventure Land for the pirate parade. All the kids that had completed the pirate transformation got together to show off. There were a lot of sword fights before the parade began.
