hmm....

Within the last couple of weeks Braeden has been peeing in the tub. Gross right? It wouldn't be such a big deal to me if he did it a little bit here and there but he is doing it on purpose. He stands there looking down in deep concentration and then after he pees he tells you. He does it over and over and over again. I have tried putting him on the potty to go but he freaks out and won't sit on it without his pants on. This is not the only thing he is doing. Check this out....Today Donna was watching Braeden when he decided to take his pants and diaper off and pee on the floor. He then informed Donna of what he just did so she told him to go and get a new diaper. On his way he stopped four times to pee again. She took him into the bathroom to see if he would try and pee in his potty seat but he told her "no on the floor." I have no idea where he has gotten the idea that peeing on the floor is a good idea but here he is doing it. So now I don't know what to do! If you have any suggestions as to what I should do I would be happy to hear them. So HELP PLEASE before I am standing in a foot of baby pee!
***Just wanted to let everybody know that my cell # has changed. I have a new phone so I will be calling everyone to let you know my new number.***

Braeden

Braeden had a check up with the gastroenterologist today. We went in to make sure his weight gain is on track and find out if he needed to stay on his medication. We found out that his weight is up to 21 lbs 6 oz! Wooohooo! The doctor was very pleased with his weight and advised me to keep him on the medication until he was at least two. He is finally on the growth chart for his weight and in the 50th percentile for his height. I was worried that his weight was still down and wasn't sure what we were going to do if it wasn't up to par. Luckily I don't have to worry about all that. Here are some pictures of the little eating machine.

We have been getting a lot of feedback about Braeden's art work so here are some samples of his latest masterpiece.

Here he is pouting because he couldn't hold all the chalk in his hands at once.

Carriage Hill

Today my friend Rachel and I decided to take our two adorable boys to Carriage Hill Farm. We haven't been able to get the boys together to play very often because of my schedule but when it does happen they have a great time. Rachel and I had a little bit of time to catch up while the boys ran around the farm looking at all the animals. It is weird how my conversations now seem to go a little like this...So I was like...Braeden come here...anyways I said this and he said that...Braeden I said come over here. It is a miracle that it doesn't take me all night to get just one thought out. Here are a couple of pictures of our cute little men playing together today.
Braeden and Gavin giving each other a hi-five!

Awwww how sweet!!!! Braeden wanted to give Gavin a big bear hug.

Of course they couldn't walk around this fun little contraption in the road.

Gavin taking a break so that I could take a picture of him with his cute little mohawk.

Braeden didn't feel very well today so he did bring up the back of the pack most of the time.

Rachel and Gavin taking some time to check out the horses.

Me and my baby chillin' watching the ducks swim at the pond.

Funday!

For all those who are not in Ohio let me tell you that the weather the last two days has been AWESOME! I was lucky that I got to have today off and it was super nice outside so Braeden and I had a little fun in the sun. This morning/early afternoon we went out and played with sidewalk chalk and ran around the yard while Travis was out doing a quick haircut. When we came inside Braeden informed me that he needed a popsicle. We had one then he said he wanted more so I got one more for him. That was not enough for him he tried to coax another one out of me and when I said no he went into the kitchen and brought me the popsicles that had not been put into the freezer yet. He is so crazy sometimes. A little later we went to Target and picked up a sprinkler for him to play in. I saw it online last night and thought it would be fun and since he loves to play with balls I thought he would LOVE it. I was wrong!!! He likes the fact that there is a giant ball in the yard however he HATES the cold water that comes spraying out of it. I tried to get him to go up to the ball with me and touch it but he was having no part of that. He kept saying he wanted his blanket and would not leave Travis. When I finally got him to come to me I did take him up to the ball and got him wet. Boy did that ever tick him off. He just kept saying that he wanted Travis. It looks like this may take a little time to get him used to but by the end of the summer I am sure he will love it. Here is a picture of the cool little thing, hopefully one day I will have a picture of Braeden playing with it.

While Braeden was taking a bath tonight I thought it would be a good time to break out a new tub toy that I bought several months ago. May I present the little man's shaving kit!I found it at Target and thought since Travis was going to barber college that he would get a kick out of it. It said on the package for ages 3 and up so I was going to wait for a while before we broke into it but I couldn't control myself. I helped him at first with putting the "shaving cream" on his face and had him use the razor and clean it off. He loved it!!! He wanted to keep putting the soap on his face and cleaning it off. It was sooo cute I couldn't help but take pictures of him shaving. Let me tell you that the razor works wonders....his skin is baby soft! Here are some pictures of our bath time tonight. All of the art that you may see in the background of the pictures have been done by Braeden himself. He absolutely loves to draw with his tub crayons as you may be able to tell.
Here is a picture of all the items that came with the shaving kit.

...wait he isn't done...

Busy day

I have been a super lazy blogger! I am truly sorry that I have not been more diligent in my blogingness, from this point on I do promise to try much harder to keep everyone updated. I just finished training at work on Saturday so now my schedule allows me to have some free time in the evening. Braeden is doing much better at daycare, he only cries for a second when I drop him off and he is eating lunch now. Now that our life is beginning to settle into a semi-normal schedule things should get even easier for Braeden.
This Sunday was a crazy busy day for all of us. Travis had a family reunion that we were to attend in Wilmington and then later that evening I was scheduled to watch Tara's kids. We ended up being about an hour or more late to Travis's family reunion but once we got there and Braeden woke up we had a good time. Braeden was running around like a crazy person and enjoying playing with Teagan (Travis's nephew).

All the kids loved watching the ducks!

We had to leave the reunion early so that I could make it to Tara's before she had to leave for her birthday celebration. Thanks to Travis and his great driving skills I made it on time.
Braeden once again had lots of kids to play with so he was on cloud 9. He ran around and around chasing Bethannie, James and Mackenzie until they all had to go to bed. Once everyone else was asleep Braeden passed out on the couch. It was just a crazy day but we had a good time. Here are a few pictures of Braeden and his cousins having a good time.
Here is a picture of Bethannie and Braeden zoned out watching tv.

Braeden refused to ride in the car but he did try to outrun it as Bethannie drove the other kids around the yard.

Braeden and Mackenzie decided to take a break from running to play on the slide for a minute.
